After School & Weekend Programs

Swim Lessons are offered at Welcome All Park during the months of June and July on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning and afternoon. Participants ages 3-Adult come and learn to swim from certified Lifeguards.

The Afterschool Program provides care for children in COSF Elementary Schools. Program participants are provided with homework assistance, recreational activities and more, all within a safe environment The program is available Monday-Friday during the academic school year. The program does not meet during observed Federal, State, and City Holidays, or during extreme weather conditions. (Parents are provided as much notice as possible during extreme weather conditions.)

Girls Aiming Towards Positivity Mentoring Program
Come join us every Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30pm for our new mentoring program for girls ages 10-12. Shacole Pearman will lead the girls each week in various activities including public speaking, confidence building skills, dance, community service, and much more. The Youth Basketball Program is designed for youth ages 5-14. With help from the great staff and excellent volunteer coaches we strive to provide an outstanding environment that fosters team work, leadership, and good sportsmanship skills.

The program sign up begins in September, with the season starting in November and ending in January.

The program is held at Burdett Park, Sandtown Park, and Welcome All Park.
